Cannabidiol Oral Solution (CBD-OS [GWP42003-P, JZP926]) for the Treatment of Focal-Onset Seizures
open to eligible people ages 12-75
Cannabidiol oral solution (CBD-OS) is approved in the US for the treatment of seizures associated with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (LGS), Dravet syndrome (DS), or Tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) in patients 1 year of age and older. This study will assess the efficacy and safety of CBD-OS in participants aged 12 to 75 years for the treatment of focal-onset seizures (FOS).

NRTX-1001 Neural Cell Therapy in Drug-Resistant Unilateral Mesial Temporal Lobe Epilepsy (EPIC (EPIlepsy Cell Therapy))

This clinical trial is designed to test whether a single image-guided intracerebral administration of inhibitory nerve cells, called interneurons (NRTX-1001), into subjects with drug-resistant unilateral mesial temporal lobe epilepsy (MTLE), with or without mesial temporal sclerosis (MTS), is safe (frequency of adverse events) and effective (seizure frequency). NRTX-1001 comprises human interneurons that secrete a neurotransmitter, gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA).

The PIONEER study is a prospective, natural history study dedicated to characterizing the clinical progression of POLG-related disorders. The research aims to bridge the gap between genetic diagnosis and drug development by mapping how these rare mitochondrial conditions evolve over time. By observing the disease's natural trajectory through a multi-center approach, The study identifies critical clinical milestones that serve as a foundation for evaluating therapeutic efficacy and future therapeutic interventions
